Building Blocks of Brilliance
A foundational programme introducing early literacy, numeracy, and cooperative learning in a structured, engaging environment.
What Your Child Will Practice
📚 Early Literacy
Introduction to phonics, letter recognition, and pre-writing skills.
🔢 Number Sense
Counting, sorting, and understanding basic mathematical concepts through play.
🔬 Science Exploration
Simple experiments and nature observations to foster analytical thinking.
Cooperative Play
Transitioning from parallel play to collaborative group activities.
Self-Regulation
Learning to manage emotions and follow multi-step instructions.
Community Awareness
Understanding roles within the classroom and local community.
Daily Rhythm & Routine
Independent exploration of learning stations. Children arrive, independently store their belongings, and confidently transition into the classroom. They engage in self-directed play at various centers—such as the dramatic play area, sensory bins, or reading nook—setting a positive, autonomous tone for the day.
Calendar, weather, and introducing the day's theme. A structured group time where children take on leadership roles, such as 'weather watcher' or 'calendar helper'. We discuss the day's agenda, introduce new thematic vocabulary, and sing songs that build phonemic awareness and early literacy skills.
Literacy or Numeracy focused hands-on activities. Focused, small-group instruction interspersed with hands-on centers. Children might trace letters in sand, count physical manipulatives to understand one-to-one correspondence, or engage in matching games that solidify emerging foundational academic concepts.
Practicing manners and conversational skills. A communal break where children practice pouring their own water and opening their snack containers. Educators facilitate meaningful peer-to-peer conversations, helping children learn to take turns speaking and actively listen to their friends' stories.
Project-based learning and experimentation. A messy, highly interactive period dedicated to our current class project. Activities could include mixing colors to see what happens, observing plant growth, or collaborative mural painting. This fosters critical thinking, hypothesis testing, and uninhibited creativity.
Unstructured physical activity and games. Extended time outside to develop gross motor skills and engage in cooperative games like tag or hide-and-seek. Educators guide children in navigating social interactions, sharing equipment, and taking safe, calculated physical risks on the playground.
Laying the foundation for a lifelong love of learning
We build our Nursery / Pre-K activities around four core pillars that gently nurture your child's emerging personality.
Curiosity
Questions are everywhere! We introduce early phonics, number sense, and exciting science experiments that feed their 'why' and 'how' mindset.
Empathy
We focus on cooperative play and conflict resolution. Children learn to use their words, take turns, and practice kindness in their daily routines.
Grit
Learning to write their name or master a difficult puzzle builds resilience. We focus on the effort, teaching them that mistakes are how we learn.
Creativity
From dramatic role-play to process art and storytelling, we give them the stage to bring their vibrant imaginations to life without hesitation.

Questions Parents Ask
Do children need to know how to read or write before joining?
No prior academic knowledge is expected. We introduce letters and numbers gently through play-based methods at a pace that suits each child.
How do you handle disputes between children?
Conflict is a normal part of development. Our educators guide children to use their words to express feelings, fostering empathy and problem-solving skills.
Are meals provided?
Parents provide a healthy snack. We focus on creating a communal, positive eating environment where children practice table manners.
What if my child learns faster or slower than peers?
Our curriculum is differentiated. Educators tailor activities to challenge advanced learners while providing additional support where needed.
Is there homework?
We do not assign formal homework in Nursery. We may occasionally suggest optional, fun family activities that tie into our weekly theme.
How do you assess their progress?
We maintain a continuous observation portfolio, tracking developmental milestones. We conduct formal parent-teacher meetings twice a year to share these insights.
